How to make your jewelry really stand out!

So you’ve selected your outfit and are searching through your jewelry box for accessories to match.  The easiest thing to do is pick something in the same color scheme or reach for an old standby, plain silver or gold.  Yes, that always looks great and well put together. 

But…  If you want to really show off your jewelry, pick something in a contrasting color for maximum punch.  Try wearing turquoise with an orange sweater.  Opposite colors really pop and will be noticed.  If you’re not ready for something that eye-catching, go with red or another bright color with a black outfit.  Ultimately, you want something to stand out against, not mimic the same color family of what you are wearing.
